Benefit B.Right Skincare Deluxe Samples

Sephora recently had a promotion for free samples of Benefit's new skincare line. Since these were just sample sizes, this won't be a full review from a month's testing, just some info on what I think about them.

The set included:

  • 0.3 oz of Foaming Clean Facial Wash
  • 0.1 oz of It's Potent! Eye Cream

I love the packaging aesthetically, each product looks really cute and resembles their full size counterparts. Practically though, the packaging is kind of terrible for the size of these sample sizes. The eye cream is easiest to access product out of, which isn't saying much. I could use my index finger, but not comfortably, so I used cotton swabs to get cream out. I can imagine the tiny pot being annoying for other people. All of the products smell really good to me. It is a fresh and clean scent that isn't overpowering. The facial wash has a creamy consistency and lathers really nicely even with a small amount. It's been gentle on my sensitive skin so far. (Using it makes me want to get a Clarisonic, haha.) After rinsing, my face feels squeaky clean and it's refreshing. The eye cream feels cool on the skin without that burning sensation I've experienced with other products before, but I'm not sure it does much else. Since it's only a sample, I can't confirm that statement, but I have yet to be convinced by any eye cream I've tried thus far. (Dark circles 4 lyfe ㅠ.ㅠ) Also, it's only been about a week of use, but I'm really liking the lotion. The first night, I put it on right after showering (after priming with Estee Lauder lotion) and my cheeks felt so soft plus the rest of my face didn't get dry even into the next day! I really hope it's not some fluke from changing up my skincare routine because I'm considering the full size after I finish my current nighttime lotions.
