I forget how I came across the website for Harajuku Hunnies, but I wish it hadn't happened.

look at how pretty that blue looks in the pot! |

I'm all about supporting 'indie' makeup brands, but Harajuku Hunnies just doesn't cut it for me. The gel liner was a lot smaller than I was expecting it to be, which isn't too important, but the product itself is not very pigmented. (I actually think the packaging is kind of cute.) Initially, I saw a few swatches in other online reviews and the color of gel liners looked so pigmented, so I didn't mind the price and the lack of a return policy.
The official description:
"Bright, bold blue with shimmer. Great as a liner to give you a striking flash of color. Use with a flat brush and it doubles as a shadow or a base to grip eyeshadows! As if that isn't enough, it's also extremely long-wearing, smudge-proof, and water resistant... Woooo hunny!"

The gel liner felt dried out and it took a lot of layering just to get a barely decent swatch of it. The color is nice, but it's not worth the lack of pigmentation. I was not impressed. I don't like the site either. It is hard to navigate and doesn't have a very professional feel to it at all. (I should've took that as a sign.. ̄﹁ ̄||) Oceanic was 9.50$ plus shipping, making it 15$ for a eyeliner that does not perform well. I'm so glad I didn't get anything else. Trying this eyeliner makes me no longer interested in any of their other products.
