"When an artist is more concerned with what is said than how it is said, there is no art." |
I purchased this palette back in December of last year and have been awfully lazy about reviewing it. I didn't like it initially and wanted to give it another chance because I did want to like it. This post only contains an initial review and product shots. Swatches of each eyeshadow will be featured in an upcoming post.

This is such a pretty palette! I love the concept of painter's palettes being applied in its aesthetics. It comes with a plastic insert that has a quote printed on it to keep the clear part of the lid fallout-free. The two smallest sized pans are harder to work with, but it isn't anything too inconvenient when using brushes. Although that's not applicable when you're using the either of the dual-ended brushes that come with the palette.. They're too fluffy and make me feel a lot sloppier than I am.

It's unfortunate that the eyeshadows in this palette are either hit or miss for me, so the price tag of even 30$ (which is what I got it for) feels unjustified. It is currently
38$ and available at
Stila's website.
