Feelin' Cheeky! Minis from Benefit

This is another mini sample set from Benefit including their cheek/lip stains (minus the new Cha Cha Tint) and High Beam highlighter.

Not being a big fan of tints or stains in general, I thought this set would be a great trial size of three Benefit products I've heard so much about. Also, I really wanted to try out High Beam but didn't want to pay the price for a full-sized one. The packaging is similar to their regular counterparts but cuter in size. In the end, I actually ended up liking Posietint--which gives a nice flush--and High Beam. Benetint kind of scares me (less so than Stila's Acai Crush stain) but it performs well in terms of wear.

I tried to show two swatches of each, where secondary ones are of the product mostly rubbed in. The packaging of these three products is reminiscent of nail polish. I found it much easier (and less messier!) to work with these than the Acai Crush stain from Stila. The sampler set can be found for 15$ at Sephora.

  • Posietint - I expected a softer pink, but it doesn't apply harshly and has a slightly syrupy texture
  • High Beam - has a creamy texture that applies and blends easily
  • Benetint - rosy color that actually smells kinda rosy; has a watery consistency; and between the tints, this one had the most staying power as it lasted until the next day (even with removal)
