|Damsel, Koi, Silver Dollar, and Peacock|
Over the past year, I've accumulated four Smudge Sticks from Stila. The most recent one being Damsel, a matte brown eyeliner from the In the Light Palette.

Smudge Sticks are eyeliners that are supposed to deliver bright, waterproof color with great staying power. They come in skinny "self sharpening propel" pencils that can be a little frustrating to deal with. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I get annoyed at not being able to tell how much product I have left. Otherwise, I absolutely love these eyeliners in terms of performance. All four have easy, creamy, and smooth application, take a few seconds to set then stay on smudge free! I did find that the shimmery ones (Koi and Silver Dollar) have a creamier finish that may smudge, but it's nothing to complain about.

- Peacock - can apply alil streaky, but it's a pretty matte dark blue
- Silver Dollar - shimmery silver
- Koi - shimmery gold
- Damsel - matte brown

In terms of when removal is wanted, the shimmery colors are easier to remove and Damsel was the hardest. Damsel has such good color payoff and it's currently my favorite. It's the first eyeliner that can actually stay on my waterline without disappearing after a couple hours. I've been a fan of the Urban Decay liners, but even most of those don't apply well onto my waterline or stay on for that matter.
Both Koi and Silver Dollar are currently on sale for 10$ each! Peacock is a newer shade that's available for 20$ and Damsel is exclusive to the In the Light Palette. Overall, I'd definitely recommend trying matte colored Smudge Sticks for people who have issues with eyeliners staying on their waterline.
