If you remember this video from a previous Too Faced review, you might remember seeing this pan of eyeshadow. Similar in size to a single MAC eyeshadow, this Too Faced color is priced at 18$ for 0.06 oz of product and is a lovely purple-blue duochrome.
As you can see, the color in the pan switches from a shimmery purple to a iridescent blue under different lighting. Texture-wise, it feels rich and velvety, but isn't as "color-saturated" as I expected it to be. However, it does have good layering capabilities as I was able to get solid color payoff within two layers of color.

The color of Midnight Mist on the eyes is very pretty and the duochrome aspect transfers decently well. On the eyes, the purple is more prominent and the blue angle is harder to find. Nonetheless, the eyeshadow is packed with tons of sparkle that reflects both purple and blue. This shade has good wear on me, doesn't crease, and blends well with others. The following swatch is probably the most accurate in terms of how it will typically look on pale skin.

Overall, I do think single eyeshadows from Too Faced are priced a bit steep for the amount of product they offer. Otherwise, I adore the cute floral themed packaging, the soft texture, smooth application, and the versatility of the color Midnight Mist. It can be used lightly as a sheer base color or used bolder without feeling heavy or caked on. I'm a big fan of the duochrome that shifts from a shimmery purple to blue.
