MAC Expensive Pink
I don't have a lot of experience with MAC so my knowledge of their makeup is rather limited. This one actually belongs to my friend Katrina, she just let me borrow it.

Too Faced Eye Love Palette
This palette from Too Faced was the first 500 point perk I redeemed at Sephora. It's long gone as a beauty perk by now, but it can be found for about 35$ from sites like Amazon or eBay.
Nails of the Day -- Galaxy Ring
After applying Matte is Murder nail polish to test out last week, I wanted to try a 'galaxy' nail on my ring finger just to see if I could. I love starry/sky things like auroras, galaxies, nebulas and such--they're always so pretty. It's been nearly a week since I did one nail and I still manage to stare at it a couple times a day. (=ヮ=)೨ →proud of self← Anyway, I did my best to capture it so there's plenty of macro shots (with bokeh~*) that follow!

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Spandex
Spandex is described to be "black, accented with rainbow," but I'd say it looks more blue than black.

Stila In the Light Palette
I thought this palette was called the Natural Eyes Palette, but it must have been renamed since I first bought it. For 39$ (118$ value), you get ten wearable eyeshadows, a mini lookbook, and a full-sized exclusive Smudge Stick in Damsel.
Rockstar Angel Cuff Earring Set from He Qi Crystal Designs
The earrings I wore in my Soft Sugar look were handmade by Lisa of He Qi Crystal Designs. I love wing themed jewelry and wanted these for a long time before I was finally able to purchase them.

Shot of the Day featuring Dolce
As you may know, I have quite the affinity for tokidoki's Donutella. One of their more recent toys are these Unicornos that come in blind boxes. Of course I only wanted Dolce because of Donutella, but Frank ended up finding one for me! So here is today's SOTD along with a little pic spam showcasing different close-ups and the blind box packaging.
St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub
This has been my favorite facial scrub for at least six months now. I have very sensitive skin and this cleanser is gentle enough to use almost daily.

Urban Decay Cream Shadows in Midnight Rodeo, Radium, and Sphynx
I really wanted to like these cream shadows from Urban Decay, especially since they're on sale for 3$ now. They work fine as bases but I can't seem to make them work for me on their own.

Label Whore Dupes
Label Whore is a color by Too Faced that came out in the Enchanted Glamourland palette last year. It was my first encounter with the burgundy brown with teal/green shift color, and I've come to find that it's a rather common duochrome. I just thought it was so cool (still do) and decided to dedicate an entire post to similar dupes.

Stila Make Me Blush
Talk about an overdue review! This Stila blush is from February so I doubt it's officially in stock anywhere, but I wanted to post about it for my archives. I remember it being really affordable (like 14$ or something).

Stila It Girl Palette
The first It Girl Palette from Stila was the prequel to the current #2 that is still available. It was about 10-14$ for three shimmery neutral shades. All three have smooth texture and apply wonderfully.

Shot of the Day {Update}
Hey there, it's been a while, huh? I took a long break for various personal reasons, but I'm slowly trying to make a comeback into the beauty blogging world. I've decided to keep this a hobby and strictly that. I need to remind myself to only update when I'm mentally and emotionally up for it. I never want to feel like working on mu-tokki is a fruitless chore. Also, I would like to start including both eyes/lips swatches in my posts, links to other bloggers I admire, along with the jewelry and outfits I wear. Starting up again feels fresh and in light of that, I've also committed myself to phasing out watermarks. I think it is the major factor as to why blogging felt so tedious for me. There are still a few backed up posts that already have watermarked photos, but we should be free of them soon. I want to note that, the absence of watermarks is not an invitation to steal my work and post it elsewhere, especially without permission and proper crediting. Overall, I'm happy with the decision and really hope I don't end up regretting it. So please, respect my work (as I am quite the novice photographer anyway), and if you would like to use my images, all you have to do is ask. Happier blogging days, here I come!
Korres Pomegranate Cleansing & Make Up Removing Wipes for Oily and Combination Skin
I feel rather indifferent about these wipes. I like the scent and the grooved texture on the wipes, but there's nothing I particularly love about them to warrant a repurchase.

LORAC Visual Effects Curling, Separating, & Lengthening Mascara in Midnight Blue
I got this mascara from HauteLook for 5$ back in March just for kicks. Though it is the better colored mascara out of the ones I've tried from tokidoki and Urban Decay, it doesn't quite live up to its name unfortunately.
Urban Decay Naked Palette Giveaway
It's almost time for school to start up again, so in accordance with my new life goals and coming back to beauty blogging afresh, I wanted to do a giveaway for this palette.

Soft Sugar
What do you think of this look? I'm so bad at naming things. I thought the eyeshadows looked more like pastels than bright or bold so I just went with that.. ^.^;; If you like my earrings, there will be more photos and a review on those soon, so I hope you'll watch out for it~

Ki by Zoya
You know, I might've overdone it with all the photos I included in this post of Zoya's Ki (8$). It's such an amazing color that I couldn't stop photographing it. It's exciting to realize the duochrome you see in the bottle translates so well onto the nails and quite flawlessly at that.
NYX Liquid Crystal Liners in Crystal Aqua & Crystal Pink
These are two glitter liners from NYX that I've been trying out. Crystal Aqua is a very bright blue and Crystal Pink is more like a toned down purple.

Stila Color Wheel Eye Shadow Palette {Review}
I wish I could like this palette more. It's so aesthetically pleasing, but it lacks a lot in terms of practicality and performance. I found the eyeshadows really difficult to swatch and have attempted over three times and am still not very pleased with the swatches included in this post. At this point, I just want to be stop dragging it out any longer.

(10) Pearl Eyeshadows from Inglot

| 395, 399, 402, 406 & 407 (top row) 420, 423, 441, 450 & 453 (bottom row) |
These are the last of my Inglot eyeshadows and they have my favorite finish! They all have a pearl sheen, super buttery application and texture, the best pigmentation out of the other eyeshadow finishes I've tried, and wipe off the cleanest with makeup remover.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils in Clinic, Delinquent & Morphine
These shadow pencils are wonderful. They glide on smoothly, set quickly with great color payoff and work either by themselves or as bases. Clinic is such a gorgeous deep, rich green that pairs nicely with Temptalia's Jealousy Wakes by MAC. Following the cut are some product shots and swatches!
