This was one of the first manicures I did upon finally receiving the ever coveted indie polish Connect the Dots from Llarowe a while back. I honestly don't like it that much, but can't get over how much effort it took to do the accent nail that I can't help but shamefully post it.

Marley was a new acquisition from Zoya's Earth Day promotion back in April. I've been really into pastels, and muted colors as of late, and it is a gorgeous lavender with a hint of gray. Application was nice for a cream and I got opacity with two coats. Connect the Dots is so much fun to apply, there are so many different sizes of glitter in the 15 ml bottle. The only thing I don't like about Lynnderella polishes is that the brush is really thin, so that bugs me. Otherwise, her creations are such glitter-bombs, that having a thin brush doesn't really stifle application relative to other glitter top coats.

As for the single accent nail, I originally did it on my pointer finger as well, but that nail just ended up looking like a disaster so I did not include it any swatches. I attempted to recreate the harlequin-inspired tape manicure from Chalkboard Nails. Sarah always has crazy neat nails whenever she does a post, so one nail simply doesn't compare. Also, while doing this mani, I realized how thin and 'tubey' my ring finger and pinky are; they really aren't the best canvases for nail art.
