Jawbreaker by Pretty & Polished
Last month, I bought my first four nail colors from Pretty & Polished. Chelsea Marie hand makes every polish, fulfills all orders, and inquiries herself. For this post, I'll tell you about my personal experiences with her shop and my review of Jawbreaker.

MAC Scan-delicious
I recently discovered that I own about 5-6 different lip products by various brands that are all essentially the same color.. I don't know why I'm so attracted to fuchsias (cause I can barely pull off wearing it), but I am. This is the last of the three MAC Kissable Lipcolours I'll be reviewing.

Shot of the Day featuring "Alive" by Big Bang
If you didn't know already, I love Big Bang and 2NE1. A fair amount of the YG Family to be honest, especially since they've got Tablo now too. I've always loved K-pop, even when I got made fun of for listening to Shinhwa back in high school. It may seem silly to have been in 'the minority' for something like a music genre, but it's almost a little strange to see it be so recognizable these days. It feels like many non-Koreans listen to K-pop more than ever before, and even know more than I do about the scene. Same goes for Korean dramas too, the last one I watched was My Name is Kim Samsoon, and that was several years ago.

Urban Decay 24/7 Travel Pencil Set in Electric
I generally like Urban Decay eyeliner sets and this one's at an absolute steal right now on HauteLook for 19$, down from its original 32$ price tag. Hit the jump for more product shots and swatches!

Villain Edition of Sailor Moon Collaboration: Snow Queen Kaguya
For the second and final half of our collaboration, we chose villain color schemes. I ended up going for Snow Queen Kaguya or Princess Snow Kaguya, the villain from Sailor Moon S: the Movie. She is an alien ice queen who collects planets by freezing them.

Makeup Challenge: Day 5
Today I'm going to tell you about my five favorite makeup brushes! If you look at my face, my eyes are rather small and don't have a lot of lid space, so bigger brushes end up being a lot less helpful than I'd like them to be. I've also really liked detailing my eye makeup lately, so I prefer my smaller, more precise brushes.
- tokidoki Siberia Blush Brush - beautiful dip-dyed synthetic bristles, dense, doesn't shed, feels surprisingly soft on the face, love the way it applies color
- tokidoki 24k Edition Eyeshadow Brush* - soft synthetic bristles, packs on eyeshadow color effortlessly
- Crown Brush Chisel Fluff Crease Brush* - tapered shape is great for applying color in the crease and inner corner areas
- Sigma E20 Short Shader Brush - short, dense bristles, perfect for setting or smudging out color on the lower lashline
- Urban Decay Wonder Brush* - soft synthetic bristles, versatile in application for either eyes or lips
Products marked with an asterisk (*) were purchased with a brush set or are discontinued.
I'm not a 100% positive I named the pink Crown brush properly as none of them actually have names on the brushes themselves, so it can be kind of confusing. I can't say enough good things about tokidoki brushes, I literally love every one I have. They're decently priced and the first Pittura set has stayed durable through deep cleansing washes and maintaining their shape since I got them initially. Below (and from left to right) are frontal and profile views of the four eye brushes from Urban Decay, Sigma, Crown Brush, and tokidoki.

MAC So Vain
The second Kissable Lipcolour I have for you is So Vain (19$ for 0.17 oz), a color MAC describes as a "muted dirty coral." Personally, I thought this color was the least wearable on me because it makes me look really washed out. Upon testing it though, I think it looks alright after a few hours of wear.

Makeup Challenge: Day 3
Today is essentially wishlist day! Likely unbeknownst to you, my wishlist page is constantly updated and edited for everything beauty that is coveted by this addict. Often times I delete recently obtained products just to shorten the list, whereas sometimes I don't. The underscores are there for things that were limited edition, and therefore I probably won't ever find myself in possession of anytime soon. Here are just three makeup products I dearly wish I had:
- Guerlain Christmas Holiday Météorites Perles de Nuit
- I mainly just love the color of the tin and want it to match my Parure de Nuit compact in its peacockiness.
- MAC Ripe Peach Blush
- I actually own the Estée Lauder version that is more expensive and in 'old lady' packaging, but I just can't get enough of MAC's ombre blush packaging, and of course, the color itself is quite pretty. I keep hoping they'll repromote it.
- Sugarpill False Eyelashes in Porcelain, Angel Baby, Spark, and Whisper
- The most reasonably attainable of the three! Their lashes are actually really affordable as well, which is probably why nearly all the ones I want are currently out of stock.
I wanted to include a couple of fashion items that have been on my mind for a while now (re: seriously lusting). Honestly, I'm trying to save for everything, but it's hard, especially since each is priced around 100$ or more.
- Black Milk Clothing Galaxy Rainbow Dress
- Filthy Magic St. Catherine Wedges
- Zana Bayne Necklace Harness
Okay, actually making this post kind of got me depressed over how broke I am right now (and all the time..) /creyz

ManGlaze Fuck Off and Dye
Another older release from ManGlaze is Fuck Off and Dye. It doesn't have the nicest polish name in the world, but it is a great matte. I received it back in the summer of last year (late postings, much?) because they felt bad about how long my order of Matte is Murder took to arrive. It actually didn't really bother me in the first place as it wasn't even their fault, but since then, the company has always had a special place in my heart.
Featured Photo at Di Depux's Etsy
Despina of Di Depux liked one of my photos from the Sailor Moon Collaboration that she featured my face in the listing for her custom color Wings in My Heart necklace! I placed my order back in December and haven't done a full review of her shop, but I wanted to share this bit of news, as it is quite exciting for me. There's only been a couple of times where someone has asked me to use my photos, so I feel rather honored by it. I've been loving the two necklaces that I bought from her shop, and Despina is very responsive to custom requests. I'll eventually review the items I purchased and her shop, but in the meantime, you can keep up to date with her latest creations on both twitter and Instagram.

Makeup Challenge: Day 2
For today, I am supposed to name two makeup products that I would not recommend. The first are NYX Liquid Crystal Liners, and the second is an Urban Decay Urbanglow Cream Highlight.

Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection
I am forever late posting reviews. I have so many backlogged that I should just stop mulling over my photos, and simply make myself post more regularly. I've had this anniversary palette from Urban Decay since August(?!) of last year and it's my favorite 2011 release from them. I've been using it a lot in conjunction with my ever constant Sugarpill colors.
Halloween { Part 2 } -- Sailor Girl (and Britney Spears)
Late as ever, here's the second part of last year's Halloween costumes. Fair warning that my skin doesn't look too great in any of these photos.. While in Chicago, we spent Saturday night at Ohm that weekend.

Makeup Challenge: Day 1
I saw this on tumblr the other day and decided to attempt it for the next week or so and see if I can actually keep it up. Ten days isn't too long of a commitment and the questions seem easy enough, so here's the first day! The prompt is to name one makeup product I use everyday.
I don't really wear makeup everyday, but do constantly have something on my lips, whether it's a lip product or balm. I have awfully sensitive lips and they dry out very easily. Typically, I'd use Vaseline, but it isn't as hygienic or travel-friendly as a lip balm in a tube. I've tried all the flavors listed over at Sephora, and Jack Black's Lemon & Chamomile is my favorite! It's pictured here with my Filthy Magic camera ring.
