The other day, I was browsing around Instagram and came across a profile whose go-to namesake is the same as mine. She drew a
semicolon onto her cheek which I thought was really cute and wanted to recreate it myself. I also tested out a new lipstick that I pre-ordered from
LunatiCK Cosmetic Labs.

Initially, I was pretty wary of ordering from a new (to me) indie company, as I've distanced myself from them in general due to bad experiences with a few this past year. One day last month, LunatiCK was offering free shipping so I decided to bite the bullet (haha) and order their new lipstick shade
Calabaza. I don't normally go for colors like these, but I think that's why I decided to jump on it this time. I've known about the brand for a good couple of months and had always liked their lipstick bullet packaging, but the actual lipstick wears super nicely.

The color is listed as a "roasted pumpkin orange," but I'm glad it leans a bit more red on me. (Oranges are completely unflattering on me, in my opinion!) I've come to really like the shade as an everyday color. I wore it for more than 6 hours yesterday, and it didn't feel drying throughout.
